Want to make your own homemade produce wash? It’s easy! Here’s How:
Fill a bowl with fresh, clean water (purified is better) and squirt in about 1/4 cap of Dr. Bronner’s citrus castile soap.
Squish around and now you’re ready to wash and rinse your produce with your own homemade produce wash!
Ready to eat without toxic residue! Or you can make a mixture to put in a spray bottle but I find this wastes more water. I’d rather make a mixture, wash a bunch of fruits and veggies in the bowl and be set for a bunch of days. **Black, blue and raspberries all do best if you wash them right before you eat them!
You can use the rinse water for other things as Dr. Bronner’s pure castile soap is 100% organic, and biodegradable. We sometimes pour the rinse water in the toilet to save a flush!

This is great! Thanks for the info. I was going to buy some because I didn’t know how to make it! I think it is great to wash everything….even things in your own garden!
you can also use fresh lemons but I often make homemade lemonade so it’s good to have the wash on hand!
That is so easy! I always worry about the pesticides and who knows what else on our fruits and veggies. Thanks for sharing!
