Zarbee’s all natural Cough Products #review & #Giveaway

I was introduced to Zarbee’s all natural cough products in, pardon the expression, an organic manner. I attended a party hosted by Healthy Child, Healthy World, and Zarbee’s Cough & Sleep Remedy was included in my gift bag. It immediately caught my attention because of the adorable bee on the package. Since I’m all about the bees, I put Zarbee’s on my radar, promising to look into the new brand further.

Unfortunately and ironically, Little Bee came down with her first ever cough only a few weeks later. I always look for a safe, effective and all -natural remedy to soothe any of my children’s ailments, but I couldn’t find anything that would help little Bee feel better this time. After searching my resources, I remembered that little box I had received weeks earlier and pulled it from the closet. As I read the box of Zarbee’s cough & sleep drink, I was pretty confident I had found a product that would calm little Bee’s cough both effectively, and safely. She was very willing to try the natural drink (such a small amount, 2 oz.) and I know it had a lot to do with the cute little bee on the box as well as the natural grape flavoring. I tried the drink first, and I will say, I was pleasantly surprised. No after taste, easy to drink, not powdery, perfume-like or unpleasant. She loved that you create the drink using warm water as she felt just like mama drinking tea.

The all natural nighttime cough & sleep drink is NOT medicine. You don’t have to worry about keeping it locked up, it will not harm you, your child, your pet because it all- natural. The nighttime formula contains antioxidant -rich buckwheat honey to calm coughs and soothe sore throats. The added melatonin promotes healthy sleep which, as we now know, is essential for quick recovery. Zarbee’s formula also contains Vitamin C and Zinc both proven to help heal and strengthen the immune system.

Little Bee found great relief after only one dose of Zarbee’s all-natural nighttime cough & sleep drink. I was relieved, she was feeling better and I had found the answer to the question on many parents’ minds, “What can I give my child to treat and relieve their cough?”

My whole Zarbee’s experience came full circle and really came to life when I was asked if I wanted to meet Dr. Zak Zarbock, creator of Zarbee’s cough remedies. How’s that for serendipity? I gladly accepted my chance to meet with Dr. Zarbock and was able to interview him myself.

Not only is Dr. Zak, warm, he answered each of my questions with patience and in a calm, reassuring manner. Dr. Zak is a successful pediatrician in Utah, and stands personally behind the Zarbee’s cough products. No wonder more than 40,000 pediatricians across the country recommend Zarbee’s to their patients.
Dr. Zak Zarbock, MD, created Zarbee’s in 2008 after the FDA found it dangerous to any of the available cough syrups to children under 4. As a pediatrician and father, Dr. Zarbock set out to find a safe, all natural and effective alternative to help relieve children suffering from a cough.
As a long time sufferer of allergy related coughs, I, too have come to rely on Zarbee’s all natural cough remedies. Zarbee’s just announced that in this coming September (2012), Zarbee’s will now offer a full line of cough products for the whole family. The new products geared to both adults and children 12 and older will make it possible to treat the whole family in a safe, effective and all natural manner.

Zarbee’s is:

  • 100% natural
  • no drugs
  • no dyes
  • no alcohol
  • no gluten
  • non homeopathic

Depends on what it is. If she’s stuffed up I rub peppermint oil on her feet. If she’s nauseous it’s peppermint oil on her belly and feet.
Also for stuffy nose turn the hot water on in the bathroom and let the steam eat away at it. Then there’s medicine to help her sleep at night.
