Our little ones loved spending the day learning about farm life in the 1800′s. They “milked” a cow, churned ice cream, learned about looming,had a chance to grind corn/grains and then feed it to real chickens and they even played some popular games from the 19th century.
I grew up on a farm and can’t wait until my kids go back to grandma and grandpa’s house to learn about animals anf farm life. I wish they had something like this in our area.
Looks like fun! I remember going on field trips to a homestead when I was growing up in Oklahoma. Like Kelly said, I wish they had something like this is our area now too.
