Lands’ End has launched a new line called Durable Goods.
Lands’ End has always been a name to trust when shopping. Their clothes wear well, are affordable, on trend without being “trendy” and are seemingly timeless. As I mentioned in my Lands’ End swimwear post, they are also known for their 100 % customer satisfaction policy. If this wasn’t enough reason to shop Lands’ End, they’ve given me another. The new line from Lands’ End called “Durable Goods” is all about bringing business back to America. All of the items from the “Durable Goods” collection are made in the USA.
What better way to say Happy Father’s Day than with a classic look from Lands’ End? The Durable Goods line offers comfy t’s, structured sweatshirts and rugged looking but super comfortable sweat shirts/pants. I love the wearability and ease of the line without it looking sloppy. It is collegiate yet sporty and works well for an afternoon of biking, boating or just hanging around playing “like a dad”.
Now more than ever it is imperative that we make a conscious effort to shop “Made in the USA”. By shopping Durable Goods from Lands’ End you’re making a decision to help support, rejuvenate and maintain our US economy. Creating garments here from start to finish keeps Americans employed. I also know that in typical settings, garments may be designed in one country, manufactured 5,000 miles away and go through multiple back and forth shipping in order to get a sample ready for market. That’s a lot of wasted energy and resources on shipping. The Durable Goods line was designed in the USA, uses USA cotton, and is manufactured on US soil.
