Jurassic Park meets New Jersey in Field Station Dinosaurs!
We recently had the chance to visit Field Station Dinosaurs in New Jersey and this outdoor attraction is a must see for any dinosaur lover. Set against the authentic backdrop of the New Jersey Meadowlands at the base of a 150 million year old rock formation, Field Station Dinosaur is a walk- through wonderland filled with adventure.
There are over thirty life sized animatronic dinosaurs that look, move and sound realistic. We felt like we were the “Lost of the Lost” as we turned corners to see tails swatting, eyes glaring and wings flapping.
Not only did we enjoy each of the dinosaurs set in their “natural” environment but the Dinosaur Petting Zoo show was outstanding although the T Rex was a little too realistic for the B duo. Other field stations include building with Legos, and a T-Rex feeding Frenzy where you can learn about the link between birds and dinosaurs and dig for fossils.
As it is a walking park, you can view the dinosaurs at your own pace, revisit your favorites, or spend time reading up on your favorite carnivore. The outdoor exhibition also features games, workshops and entertainment. The staff is super friendly and knowledgable and more than willing to make your stay enjoyable.

It was very cool! I even jumped a few times!
Oh my goodness, that looks like so much fun!! My kids would love that!
Both kids loved it although during the trex show my daughter climbed right into the stroller. That t Rex was a meanie! and very fierce!
Okay, so my family and I aren’t huge fans of dinosaurs, but this looks like fun! I really like that it’s a walking park too because I feel like it’d be the best way to get the most for money. Great post!
That’s really cool!!! Does Texas have anything like that?
I am not sure, I know it is very new to the tri state area!
