Walking with Mama by Barbara White Stynes is a book I recently discovered but wish I had read when my little ones were…littler. Walking with Mama by Barbara White Stynes is a beautiful story about a mama who wears her baby as she takes her routine walks. I love how it shows how special the experience of baby wearing can be, for both the mama and baby. The mood of the book is serene, the illustrations beautiful and the story heart warming. Written from the point of view of the child, Walking with Mama shares how the pair share in the wonder, peace and beauty of the natural world.
We have taken it out of the library numerous times and keep renewing it! I think we might have to buy this special book as the children enjoy it as much as I do.
It is a book I wish I wrote myself.
I was not compensated for this post.

Sounds like a wonderful book, gonna go see if our library has it!
I absolutley LOVE it, I love it more and more every time we read it together!
Love this book! Babywearing has really come full circle. People are doing it much more often and kids really love it. I used a Baby Buddha wrap for my son from 0-3 mos. Then, my mom gave me a maya wrap for Christmas. I used that until he was nearly 1. He was a little too independent and squirmy after that…but I think it is a really great bonding experience!
