Kretschmer Wheat Germ Review, Recipes & Giveaway

Eating right is important to our family. It is something we think about constantly and strive to make nutritious AND yummy tasting dishes for us and our children.

Kretschmer Wheat germ

The B’s love wheat germ and have grown accustomed to sprinkling raw wheat germ on their yogurt and I cook and bake with it as much as possible. We love Kretschmer’s Wheat Germ for the consistency, fresh, nutty flavor and smooth taste. (I also love the glass bottle!) My favorite surprise way to use Kretschemer Wheat Germ is in my turkey meatloaf recipe. I use it instead of bread crumb, DELISH!

Kretschmer Wheat Germ, an original superfood,  has released dozens of holiday recipes made with the nutritious ingredient. Holiday meals, though delicious and indulgent, can often be lacking in nutrition and high in calories (3,000 – 4,500 calories depending on portion size and ingredients!) But this winter, you can up the nutritional ante of your meals and boost health and wellness with wheat germ.

As an excellent source of nutrients including vitamin E, B vitamins, and folic acid, Wheat germ has been shown to help with everything from muscle function to mood to digestive health – perfect for post meal fullness! It’s also a rich source of zinc which fights off viruses and helps wounds heal, a must have when preventing or fighting winter illness.

With recipes like Pumpkin Waffles with Wheat GermWhole Wheat Cloverleaf Dinner RollsTurkey Pot Pie with Wheat Germ CrustProsciutto, Fig and Wheat Germ Stuffing, and Apple Turnovers with Wheat Germ, Kretschmer offers something for every occasion, while also cutting calories. We have tried the pumpkin waffle recipe and plan to try the Fig and Wheat Germ Stuffing with fresh figs from our neighbor’s garden (frozen fresh for tasty dishes no matter what the season!).
Cooking and Baking with Kretschmer Wheat Germ is simple, healthy and a delicious way to add a nutritional punch.
