When I was asked to review Diamond Dallas Page’s Yoga DVD, I had honestly never heard of him. Then I found out that he was a pro wrestler and my skepticism peaked. BUT I can say after trying out the DDP Yoga system, I was pleasantly surprised.
Although I was not seeking weight loss per say, in just a few workouts, I saw a change in my overall body. I loved that the program focuses on whole body health and encourages relaxed, positive thinking. I would not say it is a “yoga” program but one aptly called a “hybrid yoga workout”. The zen of yoga doesn’t come to mind when I think of DDP Yoga, but it is a low impact, highly effective, positive energy workout. Since I am expecting and not up for this workout, my husband has taken it over and loves it. It is rewarding, and challenging and provides an excellent amount of support and encouragement.
